NF is the stage name of Nathan Feuerstein, a rapper from Gladwin, Michigan, known for intense, deeply personal storytelling. His songs deal head-on with mental health, anxiety, family and loss, often over cinematic, piano- and string-driven production. He released his debut album, Mansion, in 2015 and followed it with Therapy Session in 2016. His breakthrough came with Perception in 2017. Powered by the hit “Let You Down,” it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He did it again with The Search in 2019, which also opened at No. 1. Later releases include the mixtape Clouds (The Mixtape) in 2021 and the album Hope in 2023. NF keeps a famously low profile and lets the music do the talking. His fast, precise delivery and motivational edge have made him a favorite for workouts, which is why he shows up on Muudsic’s running playlists.
