BigXthaPlug is a rapper from Dallas, Texas, known for his deep voice, commanding presence and raw, unapologetic lyrics. He broke out with hard-hitting tracks like “Texas,” “Whip It,” “Levels” and “Mmhmm,” mixing Southern rap traditions with modern hip-hop energy and gritty storytelling about his life. His rise made him one of the leading new voices of Texas rap, and he has said country stars like Post Malone and Luke Combs call him their favorite rapper. In 2025 he crossed fully into country rap. “All the Way” with Bailey Zimmerman debuted in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100, and his August 2025 album I Hope You’re Happy paired him with Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Shaboozey, Thomas Rhett, Ella Langley, Darius Rucker and more. The deluxe edition added Post Malone and Jessie Murph. As fellow Texans, we love watching someone from the Lone Star State rise to the top. 2025 was shaping up to be his breakout year, with his solo work gaining traction too.
