Lil Baby is the stage name of Dominique Jones, a rapper from Atlanta who went from the streets to the top of hip-hop in just a few years. He signed with Quality Control Music and started his Perfect Timing and Harder Than Hard mixtapes in 2017. His debut album, Harder Than Ever, followed in 2018, along with Drip Harder, a collaborative album with Gunna. My Turn in 2020 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became one of the year’s biggest albums. That summer he released “The Bigger Picture,” a protest song written after George Floyd’s murder. It’s Only Me followed in 2022, and in January 2025 he released WHAM (Who Hard as Me). His fast, melodic flow and introspective lyrics have made him one of the most influential voices in modern rap.
