Sexyy Red is the stage name of Janae Wherry, a rapper from St. Louis, Missouri, known for her brash, outrageous and unapologetically raunchy lyrics. She broke through in 2023 with “Pound Town,” which became a viral hit, especially after a remix with Nicki Minaj. Her 2023 mixtape, Hood Hottest Princess, included “SkeeYee” and confirmed her as one of rap’s most talked-about new voices. She followed it with In Sexyy We Trust in 2024. Her playful, hardcore party energy has made her a go-to collaborator. In January 2025 she teamed up with Bruno Mars on “Fat Juicy & Wet,” a strip-club anthem and their first song together. Love her or not, she has turned outrageous hooks into one of the most recognizable personalities in rap today.
