Teddy Swims is the stage name of Jaten Dimsdale, a singer and songwriter from Conyers, Georgia, known for his powerhouse, raspy voice and genre-blending style. He started out posting cover videos to YouTube in 2019, singing everything from soul and R&B to country, and those covers built him a big online following. His original music mixes soul, pop, R&B, country and rock. His breakthrough came with “Lose Control,” from his 2023 debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1). The song climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2024 after a record 32-week climb, and later set records for the most weeks in the top 10 and the longest run on the chart overall.
