Summer Walker is an R&B singer and songwriter born in 1996 and raised in Atlanta. She was running a small cleaning business when she signed with the Atlanta label Love Renaissance, an Interscope imprint, in late 2017. Her debut mixtape, Last Day of Summer (2018), included “Girls Need Love,” and its remix with Drake became her first Billboard Hot 100 entry. Her debut album, Over It (2019), reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and went triple platinum, and Still Over It (2021) debuted at No. 1 and set an Apple Music record at the time for the most single-day streams by a female artist. That era produced “Ex for a Reason” with JT of City Girls and “No Love” with SZA and Cardi B, and in 2023 she landed “Good Good” with Usher and 21 Savage. She released her third album, Finally Over It, in November 2025 and is headlining the Still Finally Over It Tour in 2026. She has four Grammy nominations. She sings on “Last night in ATL,” track 4 on Gucci Mane’s Against All Odds.
